Here are some sports posters that I designed of some of my favourite athletes. A majority of the work was done in Photoshop with a few elements from Illustrator.
sHOHEI oHTANI pOSTER
Shohei Ohtani is a professional baseball player from Japan who currently plays as a pitcher and designated hitter for the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball (MLB). He is a two-way player, meaning he can both pitch and hit in games, which is a rare feat in the modern era of baseball. He has been praised for his impressive pitching speed and hitting power. Ohtani made his MLB debut in 2018 and quickly made a name for himself as one of the most talented and exciting players in the league. He was named the American League Rookie of the Year in 2018.
MATT FITZPATRICK pOSTER
Matthew Fitzpatrick is a professional golfer from England who currently competes on the European Tour and the PGA Tour. He turned professional in 2013 after a successful amateur career and quickly established himself as one of the top young players in the game. He has won multiple European Tour events, including the 2016 Nordea Masters and the 2019 DP World Tour Championship. He has also represented Europe in the Ryder Cup in 2016 and 2018. He has been a consistent performer on the major championships and has finished inside the top-25 of all four major championships. He was also the youngest player to win the European Tour Order of Merit in 2016.
Xander Schauffele pOSTER
Xander Schauffele is a professional golfer from the United States who currently competes on the PGA Tour. He turned professional in 2015 and quickly made a name for himself on the tour, winning his first event at the 2017 Greenbrier Classic. He has since gone on to win several more PGA Tour events, including the 2018 WGC-HSBC Champions and the 2019 Sentry Tournament of Champions. Schauffele has also had success in major championships, finishing tied for second at the 2017 PGA Championship and tied for fifth at the 2018 Masters Tournament. He has been a consistent performer on the tour, finishing inside the top-25 of the FedEx Cup standings in four consecutive seasons from 2017 to 2020, and being part of the US team in the 2018 Ryder Cup. He also won the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year award in 2017.
Daniel Camarena pOSTER
Daniel Camarena is a professional baseball player from the United States who currently pitches for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was drafted by the Yankees in 2010 and made his MLB debut in 2020 with the Cincinnati Reds. Camarena is a left-handed pitcher known for his command and control of his pitches. He has a career ERA of 3.51 with a 1.34 WHIP through his first season in the majors. He is considered a valuable part of the Reds rotation with his ability to pitch in different roles, starting and relief. He also had a strong performance in the minors, where he posted a 3.16 ERA across six seasons in the minor leagues before getting his chance in the big leagues.
